It seems appropriate to make our new 2021 Toyota Corolla the topic of the first video on the new YouTube channel
Look for more videos about our new 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid as it gets its decals and signage, its new passenger side Instructor Brake installed and its Commercial Vehicle Inspection done.

West Coast Driver Training has purchased a new 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid as a new training car.
It arrived at Jim Pattison Toyota in Duncan on 12 May 2021 and I will be picking it up next week after Jim Pattison Toyota has done the dealer prep on the car.

I was approached recently in Duncan by a driver from Waste Connections Of Canada who told me that Waste Connections Of Canada is looking for Class 3 drivers for its Cowichan Valley operations.

Just a brief note of thanks for the support and guidance you gave me in preparation of my ERA test . Thanks to you I was successful. The advice you gave me and the pointers you provided were most useful in the road test. I’m sure that I would probably not have been successful without the insights you offered.
Having an awareness of what to expect on the test and all of your advice proved most valuable in helping me undertake the test with confidence.
Best regards,
Ken N. “

The Enhanced Road Assessments typically consist of a Road Test plus other tests, including tests of cognitive abilities. There may also be medical reports required from physicians or other health care professionals.
We have done driving lessons for many seniors who have been called in by ICBC for Enhanced Road Assessments.

We can pick up clients at the Crofton Ferry and drop them at the Crofton Ferry afterwards. But with the travel time between the Crofton Ferry and Duncan we recommend that Salt Spring Island clients consider doing 2 hour or 3 hour lessons rather than our usual 90 minute lessons.
Our lessons are typically 90 minutes. With a 90 minute lesson, a significant portion of the lesson time is consumed by travel time between the Crofton Ferry and Duncan and back again. A longer lesson time gives the student driver more time in Duncan doing traffic lights and other driving conditions not encountered on Salt Spring Island. We can provide pricing on lessons that are longer than our standard 90 minute lessons.
