Our 20 Seat Ford E450 Bus Is Available For Charters And Sightseeing Tours

West Coast Driver Training has obtained a General Authorization passenger transportation license from the Passenger Transportation Board for our 20 seat Ford E450 bus.

This allows us to use our Ford E450 for bus charters and sightseeing tours. We can also offer training for Class 4 Unrestricted and for tour guides and anyone interested in setting up a sightseeing business.

We have heard that Air Brake Courses in Victoria are fully booked until the end of February 2023 so West Coast Driver Training will be offering an Air Brakes Course in Duncan on:

28-29 January 2023, 9 am to 5 pm, at the H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre, 5285 Polkey Road, Duncan, B.C. Cost is $225.00 + GST = $236.25 / person.

West Coast Driver Training will be offering an Air Brakes Course on Gabriola Island on:

26-27 November 2022, 9 am to 5 pm, at the Gabriola Volunteer Fire Department, 730 Church Street, Gabriola Island, B.C.
The Gabriola Volunteer Fire Department has asked us to run this Air Brakes Course for some of its firefighters but has kindly opened up its training facilities for anyone else wanting to take this Air Brakes course.
Cost is $225.00 + GST = $236.25 / person.

I Am Running For Duncan Council In The 15 October 2022 Municipal Election

Some clients and past clients have called me today asking whether the election signs they have seen around town saying “Mark Anderson – Candidate For Duncan Council” are referring to me.

The answer to that question is, “Yes.” I am running for Duncan Council in the municipal election to be held on 15 October 2022.

But I will still be doing driving lessons during the election campaign.

Our Ford E450 20 Seat Bus Has Had Its Signage Applied And Is Ready For Class 4 Unrestricted Lessons

We recently acquired a 2009 Ford E450 20 seat bus, formerly BC Transit bus number 2189, for teaching Class 4 Unrestricted lessons.

West Coast Driver Training has also applied to the Passenger Transportation Board for a General Application bus license for our Ford E450. This application is still being processed but, once it is approved, we will be offering sightseeing tours as well as lessons for sightseeing drivers and those wanting to start sightseeing businesses.

We took our Ford E450 20 seat bus to Mark’s Instant Sign Shop in Duncan for its corporate signage to be applied. That has now been done and our Ford E450 bus is now available for clients wanting training in Class 4 Unrestricted.
