Air Brake Courses

Please note that our prices for Air Brakes Courses will be increasing from $250 plus GST to $275 plus GST in June 2026. This is entirely due to the rising costs of fuel, insurance and maintenance.

We will still be utilizing the Morpeth Masonic Hall as our primary venue for Air Brakes Courses.

West Coast Driver Training will be offering an Air Brakes Course in Nanaimo on 11-12 July 2026. This Air Brakes Course will be held at:

• 11-12 July 2026, 9 am to 5 pm, at the Morpeth Masonic Hall,  620 Morpeth Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. Cost is $250.00 + GST = $262.50 / person.

• To sign up or to get more information, email erica@westcoastdrivertraining.com or fill in our registration form. 
• On the second day of the course we typically finish by 1 p.m. or 2 p.m.
• Come to the back door of the building and down the stairs. Bring a pen to take notes. A Course Manual will be provided. Bring a lunch if you wish. There will be a one hour lunch break in case you need to drive somewhere to get lunch. There is plenty of parking available.

West Coast Driver Training and the Gabriola Volunteer Fire Department will be offering an Air Brakes Course on Gabriola Island on:

• 13-14 December 2025, 9 am to 5 pm, at the Gabriola Volunteer Fire Department, 730 Church Street, Gabriola Island, B.C.
• The Gabriola Volunteer Fire Department has asked us to run this Air Brakes Course for some of its firefighters but has kindly opened up its training facilities for anyone else wanting to take this Air Brakes course.
